Early American Floor Broom - Pre 1850 design - Untrimmed Version. Enjoy sweeping the old-fashioned way, or just enjoy this brooms beauty, as it hangs on the wall. Made by the same method as our popular Shaker Authentic 1878, except these have no shoulders. Stitched round with heavy waxed linen twine. The American made poplar handle is treated with food grade beeswax wood finish. Very smooth and comfortable in the hands. Comes with a chocolate brown leather hang loop.

The broom is approximately 60" long. The sweep is very thick and full, approximately 6" in diameter. Bound tightly with tinned wire. Perfect for reaching the nooks and crannies in the kitchen -- a broom from yesterday, to last many years.
